Intro

THANK YOU for checking out my deck. This deck is ever changing and evolving. Currently this deck is my favorite deck to play right now... This deck is very combo heavy and can be very adaptive to the situation. Only use your tutors when you need them. This deck can win very fast or it can slow down the game for your opponents. I have had some explosive high synergy turns that are very fun. This deck is all about getting out your commander Alela, Artful Provocateur casting artifacts and enchantments to make tokens to swing wide with or sacrifice for many different reasons, but this is not the only way to win. This deck is focused but chaotic if you lose focus on your current goal. This is by design you can change up strategy quick if your first plan falls through.

  • The plan

    Beginning hand: you need a hand with at least 3 color of mana and prefer mana rocks. Your first hand will usually tell you how it plans to play this game. This deck is all about low cmc and getting things out fast. I usually try to play my commander before anything else. Unless you need the mana rocks to get the commander out turn 2 or 3.

    First few turns: you are trying to get out Alela, Artful Provocateur with mana rocks and your draw engines like Mystic Remora or Rhystic Study If you are really lucky you can play Laboratory Maniac then Demonic Consultation for a superfast

    Midgame: this is when you are holding up your counter magic and searching for your win condition. Playing powerful Artifacts and enchantments building a board state. I tend to not do much attacking but this depends on who you are playing. I like getting to a direct win with something like Aetherflux Reservoir and storm off. also look into getting your cost reducers out during this time. Late game: this deck Usually wins fast but it has the ability to hang in and pull a late game win. This is when you possibly have the start to several win cons/engines. And usually you are way ahead of everybody else at the table if the game has lasted this long. You should have card advantage and resources to burn.

    Combo Time

    Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry + sac outlet or infinite mana + Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. i use this as a main combo to slow down the deck and not destroy everyone. i may have a mean deck but i still want to play.

    Infinite mana + Torment of Hellfire

    Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Revers + Aetherflux Reservoir

    Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter

    Demonic Consultation + Laboratory Maniac backup win con

    Aetherflux Reservoir + Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top

    There are lots more combos i find something every day it seems. there are a lot of long combos if its a slow game and you just want to mess with people.

    Notes:

    If you loose a win con card to your graveyard you have ways to get it back so dont let that make you think you lost the game. there is a bit of flex in this deck for card swap so dont worry if you dont have a few cards. this is just what i came up with. my maybe board are cards i dont have but if i do get them they may or may not make it in, they just seem to be cards that can really help. dont underestimate cards like Manifold Key... this card have been a MVP in many games.

    Always remember Lots of ways to get to you combs fast between draw and tutor. Stay focused on the win con you are going for. find one that works for you the best and your play style and focus on that first but most importantly have fun!
