EDH Tribal Series #3: Zombies
With Amonkhet's arrival zombies are viable now more than ever. Zombies such as Lord of the Accursed , Diregraf Captain , Risen Executioner , Undead Warchief , Lord of the Undead , Death Baron , and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed provide ways boosts to our zombies and make them more than your average undead horde.
This deck also strives to create tons of tokens (looking at you Army of the Damned and Endless Ranks of the Dead ) and to gain bits of life using your zombies so that you can stay alive long enough to overwhelm your opponents. Using your undead army of tokens The Scarab God can deal a decent amount of damage to an opponent every turn. The Scarab God can acumulate lots of damage due to the fact that he can only be defeated through exile, the end step after The Scarab God dies it just returns to your hand to be cast again.
We finally have a esper zombie for a commander in Varina, Lich Queen from Commander 2018 as well!
