Mini Primer Show

Goal of the deck.

This deck fits on so many archtypes that I have a hard time even describing it, but it does seem to work for me.

This deck is a control-y hatebear legendary tribal deck, I think. Loosely based on the new Legacy Sultai deck around Leovold. My aim was to combine most of my favorite commanders in one deck. Leovold, Edric, Derevi, Captain Sisay. Especially the last, since it can find all of the others. While Derevi can untap her to get the rest faster, while edric makes me draw card when I do so, and Leovold breaks the parity on it.

It tries to slow down the group with hatebears until it can generate huge value with all the overpowered legends. And actually win with gasps turning dudes sideways.

Choice of commanders.

Tymna the Weaver and Thrasios, Triton Hero. Provide us with tho colors to play all the cards I want. Both Gaddock Teeg like hatebears, derevi and leovold. And both draw cards and have a low CMC so I might actually cast them every once in a while.

Why should I play this deck.

• If you think that repeatably tapping and untapping Selvala, Explorer Returned with Notion Thief out is hilarious.
• If you don't mind locking people out of the game, or find it even fun, god help you.
• If you like politicking (i'm sure that's a word) you really need to maneuver your early game to not die of salt. and get some time to set up.
• if you always wanted to play derevi and leovold in the same deck.

why shouldn't you play this deck.

• If you don't like playing archenemy.
• if you like red.

this deck in my meta game.

Unfortunately I don't have a 100% competitive group to play in. But my group is reasonably high powered. I build this as a labor of love, and it won't probably fare very well in the highest competitive Meta's, but in more casual groups this deck wreaks havoc. Most people have a hard time dealing with stax cards.

weaknesses of the deck.

• It's creature based so it's vulnerable to creature hate.
• tries to do everything. Despite heavy synergy this deck needs to get a lot to getter to function proper.

playing the deck.

• Early game: Play some manadorks, draw some cards, prevent your opponents from going of.
• Mid game: Tutor. Probably for Selvala, she will help you get started for real.
• Late game: Go of with paradox engine, swing for lethal.
