First of all - this is no Grouphugdeck. There might be some cards in it, that could lead you to believe in the good of K&T, but trust me they are real bad boys. They don't even need a fancy Manabase to mess up your opponents!

I searched through a lot of K&T lists here on tappedout, found some similarities but they didn't seem to have the resilience this deck has. Landfall is a very good strategy for this lovely couple, but lacks control in my opinion. I love long games and this deck excels the longer the game goes. So some control pieces are needed to stop the combo players from going off!


I played and brewed this deck only for three weeks now, but I had a lot of fun doing so and every win is great satisfaction. Most of the times my fellow players attack the opponent who hast the fastest start, which gives me a few more turns to ramp up. After 7-8 Lands it gets hard to stop.

  • Mana Breach: Get back your lands and screw with your opponents!

  • Soratami Savant: Return a land and counter stuff!

  • Uyo, Silent Prophet: The black player tutors? I want that too and ensure my landfall for the next turn! Also counters a counter ;) New to the deck, and already one of my favorites!

  • Eternal Witness: A must have for every green deck!

  • Naya Charm: Instant Recursion or even tapping your opponents blockers? Damn...

  • Nissa, Vital Force: Mostly for the card draw ulti next turn, but getting a permanent back is good too!

  • Sun Titan: Still good!

  • Emeria Shepherd: combined with Sakura-Tribe Elder you can get as many landfall triggers, as there are plains in your library and get something good back from your graveyard at the end!

  • Seasons Past: Multiple card recursion for cmc 6? Hell yeah!

  • Praetor's Counsel: If this resolves...the game ends! Thanks for milling me by the way ;)


Card draw

I like decks that win by killing with combat damage and this one does a good job at that!


I like my decks to be strong but not too untouchable and overpowered. Prison and Stax are no fun! I play for the sake of playing and a win has to be earned! A card that states "...you win" is just no fun to me and so are combos!

If you wand to play this deck and be more aggressive I suggest putting in Tooth and Nail, Purphoros, God of the Forge and Craterhoof Behemoth as well as a very expensive manabase! ;)
