This deck focuses on gaining life while draining it from opponents. It uses extort and other abilities to gradually drain the life from opponents from behind its defenses ( Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts , Archangel of Tithes , Hissing Miasma , etc). When it's time, it has several options to move in for the kill: an army of creatures (led by Avacyn, Angel of Hope , Archangel of Tithes , etc.); infinite combos with Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond or Exquisite Blood + Vizkopa Guildmage ; or winning with Felidar Sovereign .
