TLDR

This is not a Nekusar deck, this is a wacky "I want to hold my deck in my hand" deck. Leovold the table, and then wheel your heart out. Zap everyone with Spiraling Embers or Master the Way , mill yourself to Laboratory Maniac , or combo off.

The Early Game Plan (please don't play this awful card):

In the early game, start drawing a ton and hit all the land drops and mana rocks. Wheeling for lands is ok. The best cards to get you to a decent 7+ hand at all times are Howling Mine , Fevered Visions , Temple Bell , and Otherworld Atlas .

The best cards are the ones that draw you 2+ per table turn, these are Heartwood Storyteller . and Rhystic Study and when you have the mana Nezahal, Primal Tide and Well of Ideas . These will build up that crazy hand you want scary fast.

The Mid- Game Plan

Once you got some mana and card draw going, your opponents will probably be playing some scary stuff. Luckily we got a lot of board wipes to deal with most problems. Keep amassing your mana pool and hand size as normal and wait until the coast is clear to Leovold, Emissary of Trest (pls unban in 99) the table using Notion Thief , Alms Collector , or Narset, Parter of Veils . Notion Thief will speed you along into the rest of the plan quickly. The others will buy you time to pull off your win.

Even if you don't get to Leovold the table, if you draw any these you're on your way...

• Smothering Tithe : Potential can just storm off into a win by casting a single wheel, making a million treasures and then wheeling into more. Such a great card.
• Geth's Grimoire : Use this with a discard wheel and you'll get a good chunk of cards in your hand.
• Dream Halls : Potentially storm off NOTE: Leovold your opponents first! This is a risky card. Opponents can also use it at instant speed. It can also brick. If you brick, cast Niv-Mizzet Reborn and pray. The goal is to get Omniscience really.
• Omniscience : Self-explanatory
• Approach of the Second Sun : You don't even need a big hand for this one. Just play it, wheel and you usually win.
• Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Temple Bell / Otherworld Atlas + (2 Mana Min) Rocks : Draw people out, Draw your whole deck (Keep reading to see what to do next)
• Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Temple Bell + (3 Mana Min) Rocks : We get the infinite mana goody, Blue Sun's Zenith each opponent.

Catch these hands, the End Game Plan :

• ALWAYS LEOVOLD THE TABLE FIRST
• Notion Thief : The best Leovold effect because in multiplayer it will give us the giant hand we want.
• Alhammarret's Archive : Use this to make you hand explode in size.
• Psychosis Crawler : Just keep wheeling and everyone dies along the way
• Spiraling Embers or Master the Way : Zap someone with all the cards in your hand (My favorite)
• Laboratory Maniac : Just draw out

Wheels with a set number of draws are restrictive with both these cards, the best ones for a huge hand are Windfall , Whispering Madness , Winds of Change , and Whirlpool Warrior . NOTE: Notion Thief is very good at drawing you out, this can be a very good or bad thing so many you to do the math! (EX: 4 player game, you have 20 cards in hand. You Windfall with a Notion Thief . You are now drawing 80 cards. You better have a Laboratory Maniac .

The deck is also meant to use the sideboard using Mastermind's Acquisition . You'll find Dramatic Reversal there. If your group doesn't allow sideboards, sub it out for something (Probably Ivory Tower )

In the sideboard you'll also find:

• Aetherflux Reservoir : Useful when you actually storm off, gain the life and zap. (Also Ivory Tower can get you a ton of life after awhile)
• Thought Reflection : A second Alhammarret's Archive .
• Psychic Corrosion / Sphinx's Tutelage : a fun time, but a bit of a non-bo with Time Reversal wheels.
• Fateful Showdown : another hand zap card, careful you don't accidentally die when you draw your hand back.
• Nekusar, the Mindrazer / Niv-Mizzet, Parun / The Locust God : The original squad. Unfortunately I think they are too slow, but feel free to let them loose once in awhile.
