Lavinia shuts down many popular cards in the format and really slows down opponents so I decided to take advantage with running a bit of land destruction and stax cards in this list. I decided not to run the typical hatebears so much like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben because instead of making their Mana Crypt uncastable with Lavinia out, it would then make their Mana Crypt cost 1. With that, I tried avoiding most tax or hatebears cards except for Grand Arbiter Augustin IV because he hits all of my opponent's spells and makes most of mine cheaper. Play Overburden or Mana Breach to slow your opponents down and make them hate playing spells. Armageddon , Cataclysm , and Ravages of War also hurt your opponents and gain you some advantage if you have Lavinia out and maybe some mana rocks.

A couple things the deck can do:

Knowledge Pool + Lavinia, Azorius Renegade or Omen Machine

Players sometimes scoop to this.

Lavinia, Azorius Renegade + Spell Queller or Release to the Wind

Say your opponent casts a 4 cmc or less bounce spell or wrath and you wanna protect your stuff or your Lavinia, no problem. Play that Spell Queller and exile that card. Now they have to get rid of Lavinia and Spell Queller to get their card back. Release to the Wind also gets rid of things practically for good with Lavinia around.

Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace

A very popular combo for control or stax lovers. Rest in Peace exiles cards before they hit graveyard when you "mill" your opponent with Helm of Obedience. Essentially, you can exile your opponent's deck provided you have the mana. Use Dramatic Reversal or Voltaic Key to reactive Helm if you have multiple opponents.

Grim Monolith + Power Artifact or Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter

Infinite mana to Blue Sun's Zenith or Stroke of Genius your opponent or yourself and have Laboratory Maniac to win you the game. You can also Capsize your opponent's entire board if you want.
