Maybeboard

This deck is centred around a theme of Discard and hand control, with elements of board control for protection. The reason for Sen Triplets being the commander is that it allows you to shut off an opponent's hand, likely those who are able to interact with your plays on your turn.

It is primarily a pillow fort deck, and a majority of the cards interactions will ideally happen on their turn. The deck doesn't stop people from making plays, however there is always a time where an opponent is required to pay additional mana, as opposed to stax effects negating plays all together (only one spell per turn etc.). Zur the Enchanter is a key fetcher for the deck, allowing you to fetch for your win-con / fort pieces. A lot of the deck is susceptible to tribal decks, so Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Ethereal Absolution allows the weakening of larger creatures and token decks. Crawlspace protects you from being attacked regularly, and gives incentive for opponents to attack each other. Dissipation Field + Warped Devotion also punished your opponents for attacking you. Umbilicus and Painful Quandary allows for some added pressure against aggressive decks, hindering their ability to build boards.

Ways to eliminate an opponents hand would be through the Geth's Grimoire + Words of Waste combo which can give you immediate card advantage. Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is also an effective way to eliminate opponent's hands each turn, which is ideally played through either Smothering Tithe treasures or Animate Dead. The surplus of exile deals with Graveyard decks, and cards such as Sen Triplets, Ashiok, Nightmare Muse and Profane Procession   all facilitate theft of your opponents cards.

The reason for bounce spells in the deck are both to give Warped Devotion far more value, triggering other discard synergistic effects, and gives the opportunity of Sen Triplets casting the permanent you bounced to their hand. There aren't any exile spells in the deck as there is little exile interaction outwith Ashiok, Nightmare Muse. Thief of Sanity and Scheming Symmetry are in the Maybeboard for additional search and theft options. Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign is also in the Maybeboard as there are a high number of odd converted mana cost cards, for a more aggressive approach.

Sadistic Hypnotist takes advantage of Sen Triplets ability to rip 3 cards from your opponents hand for the cost of one and deny them access. Phyrexian Altar offers a similar function, however can also sacrifice the Zombie Tokens from Waste Not, Faerie tokens from Alela, Artful Provocateur to facilitate any necessary mana-fixing. This is why Bitterblossom and Grave Pact are part of the maybeboard.
