Grixis reanimator deck using Sedris unearthing ability and cutting off the exiling trigger before the creature leaves the battlefield.

This deck is inspired by, and largely centered around Obeka, Brute Chronologist and her ability to end the turn when we see fit. We choose not to run her as the commander however, since there is a fine balance between two parts at play, the ability to end the turn for value and the value that makes that ability interesting. Sedris, the Traitor King supplies us with our primary way to generate this value through the unearth ability, and it seems to me that there are more efficient ways to abuse his power over Obeka's. We can flicker unearthed creatures, phase them out and end the turn before they go away. These effects also work with cards such as Sneak Attack , Flameshadow Conjuring and Feldon of the Third Path , but while Sedris can recur Obeka to reassemble the combo, Obeka cannot do the same for Sedris. The more you choose to tune this deck, however, the more viable Obeka becomes as the commander herself.
