Update 1/8/20: Major rework of all categories, updated for my meta.

This deck is recommended for veteran CEDH players due to the ammount of knowledge and experience in competitive metas needed to pilot efficiently. If you are a newer player picking this up, be warned: this may be a difficult deck to play, but practice and experience will eventually yield results.

Welcome to Blood Pod, an aggressive control deck that seeks to create significant hinderance in our opponents' game progression until we beat them down for the win. The hinderances we cause to our opponents will mostly come from our toolbox of creatures and enchantments, but most of them we can easily work around. Most of the creatures on this list are hatebears that come in handy for my personal meta, and should be reworked on an individual basis per the user's meta. The same reworking should apply to the artifacts and enchantments as well since each meta has its own strategies.

In the simplest theory, the game plan for a Blood Pod pilot is to assert a strong hold on our opponents through stax, hatebears, and pressure from swinging every turn. If we accomplish this as early as possible, we can begin to dig through our deck using Tymna the Weaver 's ability or using one of our search engines ( Birthing Pod and Yisan, the Wanderer Bard ) to find a win combo.

Winning Combo Lines:

Birthing Pod : use Pod to sac a cmc 3 creature like Tymna to find Felidar Guardian , bouncing Pod; sac Felidar to find Karmic Guide , rezzing Felidar, bouncing Pod; sac Felidar to find Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker , use Kiki to copy Karmic, rezzing Felidar, bouncing Kiki. Now use Kiki to make infinite Felidars for the win.

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard : from a fresh Yisan, find a non-green cmc1 creature. Cmc 2 should be Bloom Tender , but if you already have enough mana or mana dorks just find something useful or a stax piece. For the cmc 3 we must grab Village Bell-Ringer , who untaps all our creatures. Then grab the Felidar, bouncing Bell-Ringer, untapping our creatures. Then grab Kiki-Jiki and combo out using either the Bell-Ringer or Felidar.

Hellkite Charger : we may use Hellkite Charger to gain infinite combats in a couple ways. Once the Hellkite is in play, either enough mana dorks (which can be accomplished with a Cryptolith Rite if needed) or a Sword of Feast and Famine can result in abusing Hellkite's ability. Be mindful of each path as you must be able to pay for Hellkite's ability on the declaration of attack.

Aggravated Assault : this card can also be used as an infinite combat combo provided two key elements: a way to continue to pay either with mana dorks or Sword, and a big enough creature that you can swing without risking it dying to combat damage. Again, choose carefully when executing this combo.

With enough practice, good threat assessment, and playgroup knowledge this deck can be an insanely quick K.O.. Play smart and begin conquering.
