My signature and favorite deck of all time. Originally I was playing Extus for the front half but this variant literally takes a 180 degree turn for "Awaken the blood avatar". Your Commander being a sorcery is actually a bit of a double edged sword. For one; popular staples that involve having your commander out such as "Jeska's will" or "Deflecting swat" are officially off the table. Fortunately there are alternatives such as "Rousing refrain". Your "commander" being a token also has synergy with Teysa Karlov, Populate, and spells and abilities that copy spells. (Good examples being primal amulet and Pyromancers goggles) Deck statistics: 10/12 Card advantage 11+ Mana acceleration 6 sources of targeted removal 3 boardwipes

With the rest of the deck focused on creating sizable boardstates to reliably summon the Blood Avatar as quickly and often as possible
