This is a significant modification to a Karn, Silver Golem deck. If you enjoy that commander, Emrakul, the Promised End, Kozilek, the Great Distortion, or so on, then you are likely to enjoy this deck in the same way. This deck is a MUD deck that, in gaining spontaneous access to all colors acquires some cheeky interactions and freedoms, however, priority was still greatly given to colorlessness and colorless cards, and I prefer most to play cards with none of those five bright symbols in the corner. All diamonds all the time for me. My favorite eldrazi art is Thought-Knot Seer and I wish there were more that could bro-out with it. I wish I had the titans for this deck, but otherwise I am satisfied with how it feels to play this deck. Defiler of Souls finally found a home too.

Birthing Pod and Master Transmuter were the most significant synergy booster that colors provided, since they allow my to recycle the commander, whose ability is not immediately relevant in this particular shell, which can just more easily cast its stuff without assembling WUBRG. This is why there is a noticeable brick of CMC 6 creatures. I honestly find this tutor-tempo package limiting compared to the raw Artifact inundation that MUD is best at, but jumping from "Solemn" to Gearhulk is always satisfying; likewise is picking up "Solemn" to drop a colored artifact land, dropping "Solemn" and then having the colors to spin.

There is an especially obvious proxy in my real life list. I have a non-budget version of this deck on this account. (For reference, while commander budgeting is the least precise of any of the constructed formats, I observe clear tiers of money:power:homogeny).

$0 - Entry commander decks composed of cards already owned

$40 - Improved variants of the above category

$75 - True budget commander, which is made to embrace the qualities of neglected or unsupported ideas

$125 - Budget decks that have to choose if they want good lands or good spells

$200 - Professionally budget lists (value taken from Goldfish's modern budget permission)

$500 - Exclusive perks of the commander format are unlocked at this level of investment

$1300 - Tirelessly nurtured decks; legacy ready decks; budget CEDH in most cases

$2600 - Common ceiling: decks in this range are noticeably more homogenous than those listed above, but are also near the peak of power p/ strategy.

$10,000 - Though not the true theoretical ceiling, at this price little else could be added without the assumption that you are intentionally raising the price.
