(Mostly finished product. Updated with some newer cards and increased focus on just pumping out saprolings and +1/+1 counters. )

Ghave, Guru of Spores is a pretty chill dude. He likes making friends and giving them +1/+1 counters. That's what this deck does, mostly. Grow wide, grow tall. It's meant to mostly stick to the Growth/Saproling/Fungus/Counters flavor, so almost everything in here will relate to that somehow. I prefer builds that have an answer or at least a way to interact with everything though, so this can do a lot of other things as well.

There's a good few sacrifice outlets, board wipes, and pieces of spot removal, as well as some protection, ramp, card draw, and graveyard recursion. Nice and toolbox-y, just the way I like it. Fair warning though, while it has a good bit of ramp, land tutoring, card draw, and scry, it maaay be a bit low on lands, so feel free to cut things for it. Ashnod's Altar in particular if you want to make it more budget and less degenerate. Also, it doesn't have many fliers or creatures with reach, so you may want to look at that if the spot removal/board wipes aren't enough to deal with your opponents' pesky fliers.

Another thing to keep in mind; Ghave is likely to get hated out and is real weak to Solemnity effects, so try to get the Boots on him and keep him safe with removal and protection spells. He's not 100% necessary for the deck to work, but he is straight gas for this deck when he's out.

I recommend playing somewhat defensively and just growing your board while answering threats in order to gain the good will of the table, then once you hit critical mass, cast Overwhelming Stampede to just stomp everyone else into the dirt with your army of Saprolings.
