I've loved the card Astral Slide for a very long time. I built a control/value deck around it once with Roon of the Hidden Realm at the head, but it never quite felt right. I've thought about it a lot, and with all the new cycling stuff from amonkhet block, I want to give it another try. We're going 5 colors this time for a few reason.

The main reason is I really want access to certain colors. White, for obvious reasons. Blue, because it's objectively the best color in the game. Black, to find slide and other nifty tools. Green, because it has some of the best utility flicker targets. And finally red.... Okay I mainly want red because I think all the WUBG generals are lame.

So I settled on 5c. Deciding a general was difficult, I considered a few. After testing a few different generals I have decided on Sliver Legion. This is because he provides the desired 5 colors, and with the help of Mirror Entity is basically a Craterhoof Behemoth in the command zone.

If anyone is curious about the highland count, it's because we don't actually want to play our cycling lands if we can help it. That means we really only have 36 lands we want to play. This count may be increased in the future.
