My take on Kaalia, I know she kinda builds herself its just more of a selection how you wanna player her and who.

Here is what makes mine a little unique compared to other Kaalia decks I have seen:

I opted out of land destruction common in many Kaalia strategies (strip mine is there if it REALLY needs to be used). Not a fan of the mechanic

I chose to cut lots of the big expensive beaters (working on cutting more) for more midranged effective creatures (Strombreath, Harvester of souls, Baneslayer angel) I know that they are used but I try to include as many as possible. This is there if Kaalia gets shutdown too hard, the deck needs to still spit out and protect threats.

This deck also has a few subtle combos Cauldren of souls and Mikaeus is always fun. The real winner here is Rune-scarred demon if you get him into play, find restoration angel flash her in bounce rune-scarred grab Kiki-Jiki call it a day. It sounds harder than it is to pull off I have had few games where Turn 4 Kaalia swing into demon end of turn 5 flash in resto angel start of turn six play Kiki into a win. He is the one card combo assembler (in this case).

As with many of my builds I tend to play on the defensive not aggressive.

Kaalia draws lots of hate almost ALWAYS so you have to protect her, I started with a basic black rez and white protection package. Then I began to find that there are many usable clerics that fill in a void in Kaalia (Mother of Runes, Grand Abolisher, Weathered Wayfarer) so I kinda added a cleric theme as a side mechanic. It works so well that when Cavern of Souls drops I tend to say clerics (uncounterable Kaalia is kinda of nice).

Theme of this deck would be "Protect or reanimate what will win"
