"So, you say you like drawing cards? How about I let you draw a few more cards How about a whole new hand? How about another whole new hand? Oh, sorry if this is hurting you, it hurts me to do this to you. I mean, nowhere near as much as it hurts you, but it's the thought that counts, right?"

Nekusar, the Mindrazer debuted in Commander 2015 and has been a staple of the format ever since. This deck, like many Nekusar builds, utilizes the powerful effect of cards that "wheel" the hands of all players, dealing with massive amounts of damage to your opponents. "Wheel" derives from the Alpha card Wheel of Fortune, a card this deck could definitely use but is prohibitively expensive. Regardless, there have been many similar "wheel" effects printed throughout Magics history: Reforge the Soul, Windfall, Whispering Madness, Winds of Change, etc... This deck uses the "wheel" effects to deliver punishing amounts of damage with Nekusar's ability and other cards that punish drawing: Underworld Dreams, Phyrexian Tyranny, Fate Unraveler, Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, etc... Cards that punish discard can also be used to good effect like Liliana's Caress, Megrim, and Archfiend of Ifnir. These cards take advantage of the "discard your hand" clause in the "wheel" effects.

+1 if you like the deck, and let me know if you have any suggestions. Some potential additions are listed in the maybe section.
