Maybeboard

This deck is literally an evolution. It's ancestor was a deeply flawed Simic deck I had using Momir Vig, Simic Visionary as the commander. It began life anew as a Sultai deck with Damia, Sage of Stone at the helm, but something about that version was not quite right, either. Then.....Atraxa, Praetors' Voice.

What the deck hopes to do

The idea is pretty simple: Abuse Atraxa's Proliferate mechanic on creatures that either enter with +1/+1 counters or can gain them. The deck's roots in Simic can be found with the Evolve mechanic (sorry, Graft, you did not make the cut), and I added in a few Outlast creatures as well as creatures that enter with counters, like Fertilid. The idea is to get a few creatures with counters out, then drop Atraxa and watch the fun begin.

A portion of my creature removal is based on Proliferate, as well. Grim Affliction can slowly eat one opponent's creature, while making my own creatures larger, Contagion Engine can remove a single opponent's whole board of creatures, and if I am well and truly hosed, Black Sun's Zenith can clear the board.

Yes, Solemnity hoses all of that.

Backup plans!

My second win con after turning creatures sideways is Mind Grind. My third option is Debt to the Deathless. If I am allowed to proliferate willy-nilly, and have battery lands, &/or Astral Cornucopia, &/or Everflowing Chalice on the field, either of these can be devastating. If Solemnity is out, things get a bit harder for me, but maybe I survive long enough to make it work.

Results!

The deck is fun, though it can be stymied by board wipes. A deck that relies on steady growth of initially small creatures tends to flounder when the opponents put out behemoths after wipes while I drop a Elusive Krasis. But when I can avoid wipes, things get ugly for my opponents quickly.

Updates Add

Traded out some of my non-optimal lands for duals. I wasn't having too many mana problems before, so if this helps a lot, I may get rid of a mana rock for a draw spell.
