So, a big misconception about political decks running group hug cards is how to utilize them to garner advantage from opponents. Essentially, not making verbal deals but giving them tangible incentives to do your bidding all while you stockpile resources and set your own master plan in place. This was a brew challenge so no big primer due to not testing but the build should be solid. :) also I avoided putting in Bolas's Citadel because if i did itd become more about the combo and less about the politics; i wanted to brew something with political interaction where smart alliances and choices are rewarded.
