Welcome to the glorious mishaps of Kynaios and Tiro, the greatest detectives in the multiverse!

Rumor has it, there is an insane scientist located somewhere in the multiverse, and he has created a magical mirror capable of forever trapping the souls of any who dare cross him. This Laboratory Maniac has already used his creation, the Mirror of Fate to trap the souls of all on the plane of Innistrad. Word of this had reached Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, and they sprung into action to catch this maniac and prevent him from trapping every soul in the multiverse.

This is a Clues deck. This is a deck that does not care about doing anything but making Clues and drawing cards. Seriously. Most of your turns will be spent doing some combination of those two things.

Sure, it's got some control in there, some removal, .etc....all to protect your assets over the course of your investigation.

The key combo in the deck is that of Laboratory Maniac and Mirror of Fate. With both on the board, either on your upkeep or with a clue ready to pop, activate the mirror and choose to put 0 cards on top of your library. Then, when you would next draw, Lab Maniac triggers and you win the game! This the main wincon, but there are a couple other fun ways you can win aside from that.

Another method is the combo of Fleeting Memories and Tragic Arrogance when you have enough clues. Each clue sacrificed nets you the ability to mill an opponent of 3 cards, so with enough clues this could easily win you the game. And with cards like Parallel Lives and Second Harvest, you are sure to have plenty of clues.

An example of some fun shenanigans that ALMOST resulted in me winning the game....had a Kuldotha Forgemaster in play, along with Parallel Lives and Mirrorpool. Activated the Mirrorpool to create TWO copies of Forgemaster. Then proceeded to tutor up Tamiyo's Journal to the battlefield with one Forgemaster, used the second Forgemaster to grab Mirror of Fate, then used the Journal to grab Lab Maniac. I then proceeded to activate the Mirror and popped a clue after, only to have my Maniac blown up in response.....BUT I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT, IF IT WEREN'T FOR THOSE MEDDLING KIDS AND THAT STUPID DOG!

This is a very fun deck to play. People tend to leave you to your business as you LITERALLY are not a threat until they see the Maniac hit the board. You even help them a bit with your Commander in play.

If you liked it, don't forget to +1!
