Fleeting Memories

Enchantment

When Fleeting Memories enters the battlefield, investigate. (Put a colourless Clue artifact token onto the battlefield with ", Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card.")

Whenever you sacrifice a Clue, target player puts the top three cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.

Combine this with that mill commander and Altar of Dementia, Enigma Eidolon, Fleeting Memories, and Merfolk Windrobber pay off for both, also the Ashioks work well with milling and stealing other peoples' stuff (that you can sacrifice).

Here are some easy swaps when you have the chance.

Voidwielder and the other subpar bounce creatures for either AEther Adept or Man-o'-War or Reflector Mage or all three!

Scholar of Stars for Mulldrifter

Fogwalker for Frost Lynx although honestly I'd cut it when I get the chance.

Spell Burst for Forbid but that's pretty expensive, Insidious Will is a lot better or you could go full protection and go for Swan Song or Dispel

Enlightened Ascetic for War Priest of Thune or Leonin Relic-Warder

Fleeting Memories for New Perspectives though again, I'd cut this when I get the chance.

Divine Favor for literally anything else but I'll say Flickering Ward

Meteorite and Manalith for Chromatic Lantern and Coldsteel Heart. I don't think you need a subpar card like Meteorite when you have infinite blinks.

Why Homarid Explorer? Seems like an odd choice. Again, infinite blinks will win with literally anything so why not play card that synergies with your deck more? How about Deadeye Navigator which is a stupid card and a back up brago? Or Venser, Shaper Savant to bounce all the lands.

That's the biggest piece of advice I'd give you. You have a lot fo random mill that doesn't synergies with your commander like Psychic Corrosion. I'd see about removing that.

Finally 33 lands is kinda low. I aim for at least 36, maybe even 38

Fleeting Memories on it's own isn't great, but Fleeting Memories with Grinding Station was the idea. You don't need to use the activated ability of the clue to trigger the Fleeting Memories. When you grind it, it mills for 6.

Fleeting Memories seems like the worst payoff for something like this. Maybe something hilarious like Zombie Infestation since both Treasure Hunt and cracking clues helps it? Winning with damage is preferable if you're playing Tireless Tracker (aka, the best card ever printed :P)

Cheers!

Lol basically what he said. I did, however, once mill someone out with Fleeting Memories.

I need some help with a mono blue Arcanis the Omnipotent deck. I was looking at cards I have just lying around and noticed that I have pretty much all the interesting clue cards from Shadows Over Innistrad. Tamiyo's Journal, Fleeting Memories, Erdwal Illuminator, and Trail of Evidence. It adds up to some decent card draw and mill synergy but I was wondering if anyone knows about some really good mono blue token artifact strategies. Yes, Panharmonicon is on my buy list.

Thanks in advance.

Roilmage's Trick - Not a very efficient spell, even with the draw. Giving creatures -2/0 for a turn at 4 mana can be better.

Terrarion/Meteorite - Either of these can be cheaper rocks. I'd add Izzet Signet and Fellwar Stone, or Izzet Cluestone if you need the draw.

Pendulum of Patterns - The 3 life isn't amazing, but if you're playing blue the 5 mana to draw one card is just bad. Implement of Examination at 4 mana to draw 2 cards is also not good. You still have cards like Windfall and Reforge the Soul you can add. Even a simple Divination is 2 cards for only 3 mana.

Vessel of Paramnesia/Fleeting Memories - The mill doesn't really seem to do much for you so the cost of drawing a card is too high.

Impact Tremors gives you another wincon. Murder of Crows out with your commander and Goblin Bombardment draws your whole deck.

You don't really need Fleeting Memories it is far too slow. You get max 6 cards milled per turn, assuming you do something else, compared to mill decks, which mill someone out t4, this is too slow. You could run cards like Daring Sleuth  Flip for Bearer of Overwhelming Truths  Flip.

Perhaps you could run 2 late game spells like Sphinx's Revelation this would make the burn matchup favourable to you.

All in all, i still feel like the deck is still too slow. Maybe you need more land and more control to get to your wincon
