Yurlok brings a whole new game plan to Jund. Pumping your opponent's full of mana and then burning them down with it! If you like to politic with your resources, and love to use burn and direct damage, then deck will be perfect for you.

GAME PLAN

  1. Group Hug Ramp: Get the whole table loaded up on lands and mana. They've got cards they want to play, so lets help play them!
  2. Mana Burn: The gifts of Jund aren't free, so make sure your opponents are paying the price for all that mana you helped them get.
  3. Mana Release Valves: We're playing with fire, so this is our safety. We always want somewhere to sink our mana to stop getting burned down with the rest of the table.

OTHER PLANS

  • Damage Multipliers: Turn up the heat by multiplying your damage dealers output. Games will go fast if you manage to stick one of these!
  • Yurlok Support: Cards that exist to empower Yurlok. Whether that be untapping him or forcing your opponents to tap their lands, these effects will bring Yurlok to his full potential.
  • Card Denial: We want our opponents to play some splashy spells, but not too many or they might be able to use all their mana and beat us at our own game!
