The deck tries to be fast with good number of manas (and stones), creatures and draw. Limited counter spells and control.

Most cards combine effects to create more token or reduce your opponents life. It also includes the infamous Zombie combos for infinite life loss, such as Ashnod's Altar + Diregraf Captain + Gravecrawler . Alternatively, you can use Phyrexian Altar instead of Ashnod's Altar .

The deck enables you to be creative and adapt this combo with other zombies than the Diregraf Captain depending on what’s on your board. For example with:

Champion of the Perished or Carrion Feeder for an infinite strength creature

Vengeful Dead or Plague Belcher for infinite life loss.

Tormod, the Desecrator or Headless Rider for infinite zombie tokens

If you don’t have the Gravecrawler on the board you may run these combos with nice zombies having LTB or ETB capacities but then you need a card with the sacrifice capacity like Carrion Feeder and a card to play it back from your graveyard such as Havengul Lich or Gisa and Geralf. Let’s take the Gray Merchant of Asphodel for example:

Gray Merchant of Asphodel + Ashnod's Altar + Havengul Lich + Rooftop Storm for infinite life loss, infinite life gain. you can either use Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar depending on what's on your board.

Enchantments like Dictate of Erebos or Necroduality or The Meathook Massacre just make things worst.

Finally, I thought it could be nice to give some additional features to our Zombies such as flying with Geralf, Visionary Stitcher or Hordewing Skaab or Eldrazi Monument. Indesctructibility with the latter. Menace with Graf Harvest. Death touch with Death Baron or Wand of Orcus.

The CMC is 3.10. Not bad, but I find it high for a Zombie Deck. Any suggestion to make it faster?
