My budget Sydri deck. My playgroup lets me play a few proxies, so I tried to keep the price low outside of a few good cards. Any advice welcome!! Also, feel free to comment combos I miss. I will try to keep them added and updated.

Proxies

With these proxies, you could pick up the rest of the deck for around 100 dollars.

If you need to bring it lower, you can proxy some of the dual lands (or use straight taplands).

If you need to drive the price down more, you can substitute in different counterspells that you own. I have a Disallow so I tossed it in. If you are looking for upgrades, some easy ones would be to pick up a Gilded Lotus, better dual lands, a Time Sieve, et cetera.

Combos

• Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Seat of the Synod + Disciple of the Vault + Salvaging Station: this combo will get you infinite triggers of the Disciple of the Vault doing infinite damage through constant recursions of the Seat of the Synod. This only works with the blue artifact land as you need the blue mana it produces to pay to turn it into a creature. Also, if you have out a Dross Scorpion and another artifact land or mana rock you could make infinite colored mana which could be used for MANY things.

• Caltrops + Sydri, Galvanic Genius : turn Caltrops into a creature with deathtouch and wipe anyone's board who is attacking. This could be used to protect you or politic!

• Liquimetal Coating + Sydri, Galvanic Genius : you can turn enemy lands into artifacts then animate them. They will immediately die due to being 0/0 creatures. This combo also works with Mycosynth Lattice + Sydri, Galvanic Genius .

• Staff of Nin + Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Thornbite Staff : Turn Staff of Nin into a creature with deathtouch then attach Thornbite Staff and machine gun the entire board.

• Basalt Monolith + Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Umbral Mantle : Turn Basalt Monolith into a creature and use Umbral Mantle and make it a creature with infinite power and toughness.

• Basalt Monolith + Voltaic Construct : generates infinite colorless mana as well.
