Check out the latest branch of this list that introduces elaborate storm packages into the mix! It's called FILO.

Inalla First Principles

  1. Her Eminence ability allows all your wizards to double up on ETB triggers for without ever needing to cast her. Got a Trinket Mage coming into play? Pay an extra and grab an extra mox. Spellseeker? Two instants to hand seems good. Etc.

  2. Her Eminence ability triggers on ETB not on cast. So things like Flash, Reanimate, Essence Flux etc, not only get an ETB at a discounted rate, but also open the door to throw on an extra for another ETB and a temporary body to go with it.

  3. Her Eminence ability bestows Haste upon the temporary copy. This is the really broken part. Got an Apprentice Necromancer in play and Magus of the Mind in the yard? Let your opponent go infinite. You can just pop the Magus into play at the right moment, pay the extra for the hasty copy that can be activated right there. to Mind's Desire as an instant without actually casting any spells? Yes please. (In this case the original has Haste too because of the Necromancer, but you get the idea!)

This Latest Revision...

Has been updated with a slew of interesting new lines. Play interactively and leverage Flash, Essence Flux, Entomb, Apprentice Necromancer, Shallow Grave, Snap, Mission Briefing, Ghostly Flicker, Intuition, etc in clever ways to break wide open the ETBs and activated abilities (on hasted copies) of various wizards.

More examples of the kind of plays we're talking about:

Maybe an opponent casts Doomsday. You could Flash a Magus of the Jar, let the original go to the yard, pay for the temporary copy which can be activated to kill the Doomsday player.

Sometimes opponents play Demonic Tutor. If that happens, just copy it with Dualcaster Mage, pay 1 to copy it again and search for two cards to win on your turn or, if you have the mana, just win right there. (For example you could search up Ghostly Flicker and Essence Flux, cast Ghostly Flicker on two lands, cast Essence Flux on the real Dualcaster to copy Ghostly Flicker over and over netting a mana each time (and building an infinite number of Inalla triggers), pipe the infinite mana into the Inalla triggers to create a horde of Dualcasters, each copying Demonic Tutor to grab every card in your library, cast Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, which silences your opponents and lets you cast Inalla, Archmage Ritualist and then use her second ability (!!!!!) to tap the Dualcasters and kill the table.)

Yes, the above line is eight mana, but...

  • It can be performed right over the top of other players on their turns. Note that the opponents are killed while the original Demonic Tutor is still on the stack.
  • There are a number of cost reducers in the list to lower the overhead of these sorts of things.
  • There are a few Burnt Offering / Culling the Weak type of effects to convert your board state into a better margin on your mana.

You get the idea.
