Help!

Why do I run so many lands that ETB tapped? Why can't they just all be basic lands?

Are "when mill x for the first time on turn, create 1/1 token X" such as Crawling Sensation even worth running?

Hermit Druid without a expensive landbase worth it? I would think I need a lot better special lands to use something like that.

I am modifying a deck found here https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/07-07-22-frog/ originally created by Grizzet on YT.

I am not very good/experienced in MTG, so Obvious suggestions appreciated.

Budget is there because I dont wanna buy $30 card(rhystic study).

The deck self mills and plays cards using croak counters. Reading the commander basically explains the deck, the deck heavily relies on the commander.

Cards and Combos

Wincons: Thassa's Oracle, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, and Laboratory Maniac all set up self mill = win

Mill Combo: Cephalid Illusionist + Lightning Greaves

Big Mills: Fraying Sanity with Fleet Swallower , Traumatize , or Cut Your Losses

Draw for jace/lab dude without having to wait until next turn: Court of Cunning

God Combo: Amoeboid Changeling + Tyrite Sanctum
