This deck has several ways of going infinite or, in lieu of that, beating face.

Infinite combos:

  1. Sliver Queen + Mana Echoes: Generate infinite slivers and mana.
  2. Sliver Queen + Mana Echoes + Lavabelly Sliver: Each sliver generated deals 1 damage to a player
  3. Sliver Queen + Mana Echoes + Haste (Cloudshredder Sliver or Heart Sliver): Swing for infinite damage
  4. Sliver Queen + Cost reducer (Training Grounds or Biomancer's Familiar) + Basal Sliver: Infinite black mana, as long as you have 1 mana or another sliver to sacrafice.
  5. Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver + Lavabelly Sliver: Generate a sliver, deal 1 damage, sacrafice that sliver, repeat.
  6. Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver + Cost reducer: Infinite slivers (Create a sliver for (1), sacrifice it for (2), create two more, reapeat)
  7. Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver + Cost reducer + Lavabelly Sliver: Infinite slivers, infinite damage
  8. Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver + Cost reducer + Haste: Swing for infinite damage
  9. There are many other infinite combinations, many involving Morophon, the Boundless, but those listed above are the most common.

Other combos:

  1. Intruder Alarm + mana generators (Bloom Tender, Manaweft Sliver, etc): Since you can untap creatures on ETB, you should be able to tutor up infinite combo pieces with Sliver Overlord's ability.
  2. Sliver Overlord + Amoeboid Changeling: Steal other players' creatures one at a time
  3. Sliver Overlord + Unnatural Selection: Steal other players' creatures for every 2-4 mana you have.
  4. Dormant Sliver + any infinite sliver token generation: Draw entire deck.

Combat Win Conditions: Slivers gonna sliver. If you can tutor out Sliver Legion, Bonescythe Sliver, and/or Shifting Sliver, you've pretty much got it wrapped up. Grab Sliver Hivelord if you're afraid of board wipes.

Other Notes:

  1. An opening of hand with a Lotus Cobra and a fetch land pretty much guarantees Sliver Overlord on turn three.
  2. It is a good idea to grab Crystalline Sliver and Hibernation Sliver ASAP. I tend to grab Hibernation Sliver first because it protects against board wipes more effectively.
  3. Don't be afraid to take the full eight damage from Sylvan Library once or twice because it will raise the likelihood of getting an infinite off earlier. A win at 40 life is the same as a win at 1 life.
  4. Be careful about when you use Worldly Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Enlightened Tutor. It may be advantageous hold them a turn or two, use them on a main phase, then draw them with Dormant Sliver's ability. That way, opponents won't have as much time to react.
  5. Don't underestimate Telekinetic Sliver. It taps permanents, including lands. You can effectively lock out a whole board with just a few slivers, tapping down your opponents' key lands. In an archenemy situation (most games you'll play), locking down everyone's single swamp (or whatever) will buy you much-needed time.
  6. If you have Crystalline Sliver out and try to steal using Sliver Overlord + Amoeboid Changeling -or- Unnatural Selection, you'll need to bounce Crystalline Sliver with Hibernation Sliver because the creature you turned into a sliver will have shroud.
  7. If you're generating plenty of colorless mana with an infinite combo using Mana Echoes, but are out of colored mana to cast stuff, tutor out Morophon, the Boundless. You'll be able to play out every creature.
  8. Single CMC slivers (Galerider Sliver, Striking Sliver) are handy to tutor out with Mana Echoes on board and only one colored mana left. Doing so could mean following that up with Morophon, the Boundless and then being able to cast every sliver pretty much for free.

Fastest possible win (damn-near, but not impossible):

  1. Turn one - Land > Sol Ring > Arcane Signet > Birds of Paradise or Noble Hierarch
  2. Turn two - Land > Mana Echoes
  3. Turn three - Land > Morophon, the Boundless > Sliver Overlord > tutor Sliver Queen with the 3 generated by Mana Echoes and cast for free, engage infinite combo of choice from list above.
