King Macar and Karn drip with precious metals. This is Silver and Gold!

This is an upgrade of my other King Macar, the Gold-Cursed deck: Fools' Gold [Super Budget]. The other deck was built based upon the restriction that any card cannot be worth more than $1, but this deck has had that restriction removed and I hope it works a little better!

The basic premise is to control the board with a LOT of creature removal (both destroy & exile), while you ramp into as much mana as possible to win.

There is a lot of tap/untap shenanigans going on with King Macar, the Gold-Cursed and a few other creatures that do things when they tap or untap.

Win conditions include:

• Combo with Magus of the Coffers + Umbral Mantle or Sword of the Paruns + 6 x Swamps = infinite black mana & a huge Magus to swing with

• Getting lots of mana and hitting big with Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire

• Going hard into black and hitting with Gray Merchant of Asphodel

• Nevinyrral's Disk + Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge = complete one-sided board wipe

• Clock of Omens + Silverskin Armor + King Macar, the Gold-Cursed = Infinite tap/untap to exile every targettable creature and create a (tapped) Gold token for each one

• When all else fails, use Cranial Plating and Rogue's Passage to swing for commander damage!

On top of these there are a number of other nice synergies that should help you control the board:

• Karn, Silver Golem can turn any artifacts into a creature that can then get exiled with King Macar, the Gold-Cursed

• Marionette Master will ping someone or something every time you sac a Gold token

• Vehicles, while acting as ramp, draw, damage, etc. give you a simple way to tap Macar without attacking with him

• Helm of the Host allows you to generate more than one King Macar, the Gold-Cursed and start exiling all the things

Update 2018-06-16

I have swapped out:

• Profane Command and Herald of Anguish (as cards I have held and not really wanted) replaced with Isochron Scepter and Dark Ritual for an infinite mana combo with Paradox Engine .

• Ob Nixilis Reignited for Cremate in order to reduce the mana curve a little and give a second possible target for the Isochron Scepter to imprint for repeatable draw.

• Darksteel Juggernaut out for Sword of the Paruns in. The juggernaut was a bit "meh" and the Sword combos with Crypt Ghast for infinite mana, as well as giving another tap/untap option to Macar himself.

Update 2019-02-26 THE REBREW UPDATE

I was previously using a "shared cards folder" to enable the use of medium and high cost cards in multiple decks. Having decided to stop using this folder I have had to make some modifications to all of my decks to fit the cards in. I also took this opportunity to make a few minor tweaks to my decks, which are also included in this update.
