disclaimer: this description is totally not finished, but look at my deck anyway. i've already outlined the basic premises of the deck, and it should be relatively easy to playtest. enjoy my deck, love larry.

A STRONGLY WORDED PREFACE: THIS DECK IS NOT FOR BLUE PLAYERS. IF YOU EXPECT TO GET SOMETHING THAT PLAYS LIKE SIMIC FILTH, YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT HERE.

WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY, THIS DECK IS A DECK ABOUT HITTING PEOPLE VERY HARD WITH CREATURES. THIS DECK DOES THIS BY UTILIZING SEVERAL CONCEPTS-

VALUE

OKAY, THIS STUFF IS SIMPLE. THINGS LIKE Sunforger GIVE Sun Titan GIVE YOU PLENTY OF VALUE TO WORK WITH- CARDS THAT HAVE A LASTING IMPACT, BY BRINGING BACK OTHER CARDS, OR BEING SO GOOD, THEY MUST BE INCLUDED.

Sunforger IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT, SINCE IT ALLOWS FOR MANY INSTANTS TO BE USED FOR A VARIETY OF SITUATIONS. NEED A BOARDWIPE? Settle the Wreckage. (protip, use this on tokens you attack with for some sweet ramp) NEED TO DICTATE HOW PEOPLE ATTACK? Master Warcraft. NEED TO BLOCK DAMAGE? Comeuppance OR Deflecting Palm. SIMPLY PUT, Sunforger IS A MUST INCLUDE FOR VERSATILITY IN A BOROS DECK.

Sunforger BECOMES AN EVEN GREATER MENACE WHEN PAIRED WITH Mistveil Plains, DUE TO THE ABILITY TO RECUR INSTANTS YOU CAST, EVERY SINGLE TURN. GODLIKE!

SYNERGY ( FIGHT FIGHT)

THIS DECK REVOLVES AROUND BOTH BURN AND CREATURES, AS A GOOD BOROS DECK SHOULD. INSTANT EFFECTS AND A BIT OF COMBAT FUCKERY ALWAYS KEEPS PEOPLE ON THEIR TOES. COMBINED WITH Sunforger, YOUR TROOPS BECOME AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE OF DEATH. REMOVAL, BUFF, WHATEVER YOU NEED.

THIS DECK BOTH PUMPS OUT WEENIES WITH A FEW CARDS...

4 THINGS MAKE THIS DECK CONSISTENT

• RECURSION
• LOW-MED CMC
• FETCHES AND RAMP
• LIGHT DRAW AND SOME TOPDECK ADJUSTMENT

THAT'S IT. BOROS WORKS BECAUSE YOUR DRAWS ARE MEANINGFUL, NOT PLENTIFUL. EFFICIENCY MATTERS.

(the things outlined here are fairly obvious. the cards involved in this are also fairly obvious Sensei's Divining Top, Enlightened Tutor, etc.)

BECAUSE BOROS DOES NOT REQUIRE CARD DRAW, OR RAMP (rather it doesn't have it.. but I mean, you did click on this deck for a reason mate) BOROS REQUIRES THESE MECHANICS TO BECOME A GOD-TIER DECK.

(oh also, the jank tag is there because this is boros, it's more or less because of hilarity. this is a well-refined deck and should work. i just find it fitting of boros in general to be fair.)
