I have been wanting to make a token deck for a while and was tired of seeing the usual zombie/soldier/elf/saporling token decks. After looking on the site for a while i decided to make a Squirrel token deck. With that as my goal i started the long journey in making this deck. I have messed with it a huge amount and come to the conclusion you cant make a squirrel EDH deck mainly because of the lack of cards. From there i branched out to include other woodland creatures to form the deck you see above.

There are no instant win combos though it is possible to win very quickly with overrun effects.

Some of the key cards include

Skullclamp and Ashnod's Altar to turn your tokens into cards or mana respectively.

Acorn Catapult + Druid's Call + Hornet Nest can yield you 2 squirrels and a flying deathtouch insect each turn for 1 mana.

Triumph of the Hordes + White Sun's Zenith can very quickly turn your fortunes around.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice May not seem the best choice of commander but i can say with all the tokens you are creating your life jumps very quickly and the extra populate does come in handy. Additionally thre is something to be said for diplomacy in EDH. There is substantial less initial player aggro with Trostani i most cases then with Rhys the Redeemed or Emmara Tandris
