Thassa, Deep-Dwelling EDH (I think I'll keep that)

Commander / EDH Casual Mono-Blue Value Engine

I happened to crack open a Thassa as my prerelease promo and felt like building a neat, value based deck around her.

The goal is to build up a value engine which can overwhelm your opponents ig it sticks around long enough. You can either win by flickering some of the token makers over and over, or by using a variety of steal effects to snatch your opponent's wincons and use them for yourself. It also runs some counterspells to protect its setup.

The early gameplan is to either play ramp cards or small value creatures like Fblthp, the Lost and Cloudkin Seer to draw some cards. Once Thassa comes down, you can start flickering these creatures to start your value engine.

One of the interesting things about Thassa is the way she's worded. Her endstep trigger exiles a creature you control and then also returns it under your control. You can abuse this by flickering creatures you stole from opponents via temporary steal effects like Chamber of Manipulation and turn them into permanent steal effects. The deck therefore runs a suite of repetable steal effects that you can really start to abuse with Thassa.

I want to keep the deck fairly casual, so no infinite combos. I purposefully omitted stuff like Dramatic Scepter and Dead-Eye Navigator, which would go infinite with some of the land untappers. However they would make great inclusions if you want to turn up the powerlevel of the deck a bit. I also don't run Laboratory Maniac because I don't feel like I can consistently draw my deck and because I just find the Labman wincon to be a bit boring at this point. No offense.

Some more recommendations are always welcome. Although keep them under ~10 bucks per card. I know I could run stuff like Snapcaster, but that just kinda exceeds my funds.
