I originally started EDH with a Nicol Bolas deck and then moved onto a Kami of the Crescent Moon Group Hug deck that occasionally wins a game or two. I enjoyed the Grixis mix of colours and when I saw Nekusar released, I wanted to base a build around him, maybe morphing from some Group Hug to Group Hate, let people draw lots of cards but punish them for it :). I could never decide quite what I wanted to do with the build, so have scribbled pages of notes about it, but never actually done anything.

With some forced time off work, I've finally gotten around to setting something out. In looking through the various decks, the one by DarkReject (https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/updated-nekusar/) really stood out to me, I liked the mana base, ramp and inclusion of Chains. So, sorry DarkReject, I've shamelessly decided to give this a "run out" and see how it does for me.

The Dream Halls build also intrigues me, hey, Free Wheelin' :)

I'll toy with the idea of things such as Mirage Mirror, Viseling, extra Twists and/or Wheels, Mines and some different 'Walkers/Creatures. It remains a work in progress as I begin learning the deck.
