bobbyboo on Abdel: Blink and You Miss Him.

Changes to be made:

Aviation Pioneer for Aspiring Aeronaut : Same effect for lower CMC. Flying blockers can be a weak point for this deck.

Burdened Aerialist for Wall of Runes : Trading filtering for treasure production, adding another potential combo piece to the mix.

Inspiring Overseer for Skyscanner : Same effect for same CMC with lifegain attached.

Mulldrifter for Search Party Captain : Better digging option with the upside of being able to be evoked if in a pinch. SPC being dependent on attackers is good for when Abdel has made enough tokens, not great in your opening hand though.

Soul's Attendant for Dwarven Priest : Better long term lifegain option with a lower CMC.

Stonehorn Dignitary for Watertrap Weaver : Why tap an opponents creature when you can stop them from attacking at all? Yes they will be able to use their remaining creatures as blockers, No Abdel doesn't care when he attacks with 100x 10/10 soldiers.

Watcher for Tomorrow for Augur of Bolas : Better digging option with less chance to whiff.

Pristine Talisman for Manalith : Can give infinite lifegain when Abdel is in a blinking loop, and this deck doesn't necessarily need the mana fixing.

Ephemerate for Teferi's Time Twist : Far better value, lower CMC, and returns Abdel immediately rather than at the end of the turn.

Settle Beyond Reality for Voidwielder : Another blink loop option with a hard exile mode for opponents creatures, better all around for the same CMC.

Reality Acid for AEthersnipe : Hard removal for less mana.

Fellwar Stone and other two cmc rocks will replace the three cmc ones over time to lower the curve even further.

Hey, you haven't really made a complete deck yet to begin optimizing? Since there's only 14 lands here and you have to know that's not enough lands for a Commander deck?

There's some good ideas here, such as stealing opponent's creatures, attacking with them and then sacing them, but you want more sac outlets for this strategy. Making opponents discard cards is good, but giving an opponent the choice of what card to discard can be problematic for Tariel since opponent is not going to discard a creature. There's some reanimation and lots of recursion here which is good in these colors, but there's few enablers to get your creatures into your graveyard.

Some causal budget deck building advice to get started.

To start add 36 lands, they can be all basic lands to begin, can change some to dual lands later. Have 36 lands so you fill all the spots that are needed for lands and to clearly see how many cards have to be cut for lands. The double faced cards represented as lands here are all terrible cards for the mana cost. Cut them all and replace them with basic lands?

To add more lands next cut all the Pacifism removal? This type of creature removal doesn't interact with Tariel, Reckoner of Souls because it doesn't kill opponent's creature putting it into opponent's graveyard. If you want to utilize Tariel's ability then your opponent's creatures have to be put into graveyards, not exiled or stuck on the battlefield unable to attack or block.

The next cards to cut to add more lands are the high mana cost creatures who don't do enough for Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. Tariel is the high mana cost spell you want to cast more than the rest, the other spells played should have some interaction with him or interact with opponent's creature in some way such as In Garruk's Wake. Keep Wake, cut the rest?

Cards to cut last are some that just aren't doing enough for the mana cost and don't have any interaction with Tariel, Reckoner of Souls or the other strategies being played.

All these cuts make enough spots for 36 lands. When you have enough lands then you can begin to optimize the rest of your deck. Good luck.

Hey, nice version of Feather for less than $100 bucks.

Defiant Strike is another instant one drop good card draw with Feather. Sudden Breakthrough, Angelfire Ignition and Blacksmith's Skill are three powerful for their mana costs new budget spells for Feather. Angerfire alone can replace a lot of cards because of so many effects it gives for three mana and flashback is a bonus. Cards Angelfire makes redundant here are Gird for Battle, Desperate Stand, Swift Justice, Sure Strike.

Mavinda, Students' Advocate is nice with instants for Feather letting you cast one on each player's turn from your graveyard and then exile it with Feather. This effect is helpful to cast instants when you don't control Feather to then when you do control Feather get those instants back.

Budget Chain Reaction and more expensive price Blasphemous Act wrecks opponent's creatures and not Feather because you have so much indestructible and color protection. Protection from red prevents damage from Reaction or Act.

Consider more ramp especially staple mana rock Sol Ring? Talisman of Conviction, Star Compass and Sudden Breakthrough will also help with color fixing. Battlefield Forge, Furycalm Snarl and Temple of Triumph are some budget Boros dual lands that could replace a few basic lands.

Some cards to consider cutting are you could cut a few basic lands for more ramp. Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice and Favored Hoplite are the two lesser creatures here. Settle Beyond Reality's effect is not worth five mana at sorcery speed. Martial Glory and Inordinate Rage are subpar pump spells compared to the others here. If you choose to add Angelfire then Gird for Battle, Desperate Stand, Swift Justice, Sure Strike are not really needed.

Good luck with your deck.

Some more cards that work nicely with Mavinda:
Blessed Alliance,
Fell the Mighty,
Ajani's Influence.

Also, Settle Beyond Reality isn't priced as bad as it might seem and repeatable removal with Mavinda.

Some cards worth considering - I won't mention any cards that are more expensive for a paper copy than Aetherflux Reservoir since it seems to be the most expensive single in the deck:

*Boros Charm is amazing, since it can either give Feather double strike, save you from a non-exile boardwipe, or remove a planeswalker (or a player who's almost dead)

*Sunforger+Magnetic Theft is good in any Boros deck that runs a decent number of instants and is at its best with Feather being able to get Magnetic Theft back every turn (side note: according to edhrec, only 35% of Feather decks with Sunforger also run Magnetic Theft. Why the hell is this not 100%?)

*Seize the Day can potentially let you kill multiple opponents in one turn

*Bedlam guarantees Feather won't get blocked

*Chandra's Ignition is the best board wipe for Feather decks imo since she can easily get quite large and she recycles it

*Acrobatic Maneuver fizzles targeted removal, cantrips, and gets recycled (in general you want to be running as many recyclable cantrips as possible)

*Settle Beyond Reality is a recyclable removal spell that can potentially combo with the Dualcaster Mage that's already in your list to become a one-sided wipe

*Knight of the White Orchid and Solemn Simulacrum get you lands and are excellent targets for your blink spells if you don't need to use them as protection

*Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon both at best make several copies of your cantrips, and at worst turn your pump one dude spells into pump your team spells

As for the manabase:

*With how cheap Command Tower is since it's printed in every single commander precon the only reason not to run it in any multicolor deck is if you forget it exists. There's a reason it's the single most played land in the format

*By the standards of dual lands that come in untapped if certain conditions are met, Inspiring Vantage and Clifftop Retreat are both relatively cheap

*Mistveil Plains is worth considering if you do get a Sunforger

I'm looking to make a Kaya deck as my introduction to the Oathbreaker format. I really like what you're trying to do here. I know you have a lot of removal and board wipes, but something like Dawn Charm might be a versatile option to fog and to counter (and depending on what creatures you run and what wipe you play, regeneration).

I see that a lot of your exile effects target cards in play (other than Sin Collector). Castigate could be another good hand attack that's more broad and hits some threats before they enter the battlefield.

As for creatures:

Angel of Finality has a nice ETB and a pretty good cost/power ratio.

Duplicant as well. And the two combo nicely with Settle Beyond Reality .

Archon of Justice feels similar, but triggers on death, which can combo well with your board wipes.

Palace Jailer gives you some card draw through the monarch mechanic, but also puts a target on you, so I'm not sure if that works well with your strategy.

Stonecloaker seems really flexible as a surprise blocker, a bounce for another ETB trigger for a creature, or to loop itself to exile cards for three mana.
