Parasitic mechanic: A mechanic that almost forces you to use cards from a specific block/set of cards, e.g. energy counters from Kaladesh, mutate from Ikoria, and devoid from BfZ. I'm trying to make a deck out of as many of these kinds of mechanics as I can, since these are the cards that are the most abundant around. Feel free to offer suggestions or cards that you'd like to see built, I'm always browsing for ideas.
