Upcoming deck for Core 19 Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire.

Brief Overview

The concept is to manipulate the top of your deck and take advantage of the Chaos Warp effect of Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire. The deck takes advantage of fast artifact mana/ mana dorks to accelerate you into being able to cast your big stuff.

Strategy

The tricks to the deck include Sensei's Divining Top, Mirri's Guile, Sylvan Library, Grim Flayer,Cream of the Crop.

There are a few things that also help you cheat mana costs in here (Call of the Wild, Lurking Predators, Defense of the Heart, and Elvish Piper).

Creature choices are designed to be as impactful as possible. Things like It That Betrays, Terastodon, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Woodfall Primus, Avenger of Zendikar, Combustible Gearhulk, Craterhoof Behemoth, Etali, Primal Storm, Void Winnower.

There is also a minor sacrifice theme. Grave Pact, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest allow for some interesting interactions when creatures are sacrificed.

Blue hate

Snake Pit hates on blue and black (which are prevalent in my meta). It creates tokens in response to blue meddling. Almost every game has a blue deck (my meta often has three or four). Making it a great token producer.

Replacement cards could include Awakening Zone and things like it.

Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast also allow you to defend your spells through counter magic or bounce. They also defend against the ever lurking Cyclonic Rift threat.

Why no Birthing Pod?

I decided against Birthing Pod. Not because it is a bad card, but because I had not thought of the package for the deck. I am developing the build now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
