I really wanted to make a creatureless deck and I wasn't happy with Talrand. I think Narset is queen of the creatureless decks so I put this deck together. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

The Strategy

Step 1 = Ramp as much as possible

Step 2 = Play Narset, Enlightened Master

Step 3 = Enjoy the extra turns and combat

Proteus Staff + Beacon of Tomorrows

The Win Cons

1) Commander damage from extra combat and turns

2) A big Storm Herd

3) Any of the storm cards

The Nut Draw

Infinite turns on turn 3:

Turn 1 = Land, Sol Ring , any signet

Turn 2 = Land, Lightning Greaves , Proteus Staff

Turn 3 = Land, Narset, Enlightened Master and get lucky with an extra turn

Alternatives for Budget/Non-budget

If you're going cheap:

The expensive non-basic lands like Gemstone Mine can be switched out for basics. Mystical Tutor , Scroll Rack , Supreme Verdict and Thran Dynamo are all replaceable. That brings the deck under $100 without sacrificing any extra combat/turn cards.

If money is no object:

Filling out the rest of the extra turn cards like Time Warp , upgrading the mana rocks with things like Mana Vault , upgrading the counter package with no cost spells like Pact of Negation and getting the other land wipes in Boom / Bust and Catastrophe .
