The more mana you spend to cast her, the more spells you get to cast from her. Therefore it's not undesirable to see her die and have to cast her again. In fact, this deck uses High Market, Riptide Laboratory, and spells that make you sacrifice creatures to make sure she can be cast repeatedly throughout the game for more card advantage.
