This is a grixis 'turbo' deck, utilizing common grixis lines to victory and utilizing the benefits of a 0 cost commander. Speed is the name of the game, using the 0 cost commander to enhance some fast mana and sac outlets for an Ad Naus payout. This is a grixis shell is used commonly in CEDH, but here is the rundown:

The Early Game Goal

Cast Ad Nauseum as soon as humanly possible. Mana curve on the deck nets me 20-24 cards on average per Ad Naus. This can be enough to win on the spot, or at the very least set me up to win and defend my win the following turn with one of the following win-cons

The Grixis Win-cons

For the unfamiliar, 2 primary win cons are the Demonic Consultation/Thoracle and the Underworld Breach / Lions Eye Diamond / Brain Freeze Mill combo. Demonic consultation exiles the entire library for a single black pip, while Thoracle takes advantage of the empty library for 2 blue pips. Demonic Consultation is backed up w/ Tainted Pact which can be used as a tutor if needed.

Underworld breach offers many opportunities to replay spells, but with the brain freeze mill storm count, and the constant mana lions eye will be able to provide when brought back via breach allows a full table mill out and turn pass or playing Thoracle on an empty library.

From the Kess Deck Roots

This deck originated as Kess deck. That deck was driven by intuition. I run snap caster mage along with intuition to keep intuition lines available. I prefer snap caster over something like yawgmoth's will to save a CMC and mostly use it to rerun wheels and use demonic consultation/reanimate when put into the graveyard with intuition.

The Rograkh Benefit

Before I got into more competitive decks, I would have looked at a 0/1 commander and been confused. Being able to get a body for free onto the battlefield that is also a commander provides an immediate benefit. Mox Amber, Paradise Mantle, Springleaf Drum all become mana producers instantly. While a tutor like diabolic tutor becomes usable turn 1 now. Culling the Weak becomes a potential avenue for a turn 1 Ad Naus. Insane value

The Silas Renn Benefit

There is none. He is here for his colors only.

Cards That Are In...For Now

Vandalblast - was needed in Kess to eliminate Grafdiggers cage. However, with how fast this deck can go, a single sided artifact board wipe could come in handy
Baral - With the amount of counters to offer card draw and a chance to lower the Ad Naus casting cost, Baral has a spot AND survives Orcish Bowmasters pings
Faerie Mastermind - A last ditch effort to get more card draw avenues. Susceptible to Bowmasters pings though.
Bolt - Since mainly single pip non creature counter spells. Sometimes you just got to bolt something that made it on the board. And since life as a resource is vital for necropotence or Ad Nause, I'd rather not give my opponent an extra 4/4 to swing at me with something like Pongify

Lands

I need the dual lands but I'm not putting the $$ up for a land card. or now I haev the 'fast lands' in, because we gotta go fast. These could still be tweaked going forward. Could look to add phyrexian tower.

Potential Adds

Could look to add more of the RR cards that grant an extra turn at the expense of losing the game like Warrior's Oath
Cards that provide a red ritual (infernal plunge) are fairly common in other decks, but in my play testing I've been fine with just the fast mana artifacts and black mana rituals. Will continue to test and get games in and determine where ones could be slotted in. I am a little counter heavy, and could balance it out with more red rituals.
