Oloro, Ageless Ascetic has been one of the constants in my commander deck arsenal since it was released, and I really like this version with a Zombie subtheme, brought together by Necromancer's Covenant which grants your zombies lifelink.

The deck allows you to go wide with zombies or tall with Ajani's Pridemate, Bloodbond Vampire, and Karlov of the Ghost Council which can get huge in short order as you gain life. Archangel of Thune, likewise, lets you buff your whole board at once (bring dice).

Alternately, cards like Defiant Bloodlord and Vizkopa Guildmage let you do high amounts of damage to your opponents from lifegain, especially when combined with something like Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Exsanguinate.

The Scarab God is a great new addition from the zombie angle, giving your opponents another clock as well as keeping your board full.

In addition to these damage sources, there are three alternate win conditions. Two still rely on lifegain: Felidar Sovereign and Aetherflux Reservoir. Alternately, Approach of the Second Sun puts a definite clock on your opponents, especially given the amount of draw available.
