Each player draws a card, then discards a card at random. Then each player that has less than four cards in hand loses 3 life.
"Snowfall? In August?"
Green typically doesn't have anything to do with hand sizes, so this is pretty weird.
Create a charm. Any kind of charm, any kinds of colors. Some of my favorite charms are Dromar's Charm , Funeral Charm , Seedling Charm and Orzhov Charm . I know they're not particularly powerful, but I like them.

Make a counterspell that has modes. For example, Dawn Charm , Izzet Charm , and Dromar's Charm all have a type of counter effect as one of their modes; I want a counterspell that is primarily a counterspell with modes of other things going on in it.

Inspiring Call is also a must for this deck - dodges a wrath, and gives card draw.

I think this deck would benefit of Crucible of Fire and Wild Pair . Living Death and Primevals' Glorious Rebirth are amazing recursion. Spit Flame can be really fun; Dromar's Charm is a flavourful counter spell.

Alright hkhssweiss, so I have updated and edited my deck a bit, and I wanted to see what you thought. Here are the cards I took out:

- Strionic Resonator (To play the Triplets' Ability more than once, just like with Paradox Haze . With this, I can even play it more than twice!)
- Crystal Shard (When I take over someone with the Triplets' ability, I can use this on them to bounce one of their important creatures and then immediately recast it. The best thing is that it is repeatable!)
- Venser's Journal (I just added this to combat life loss with Necropotence . Since it also makes me have a unlimited hand size, it combos there as well.)
- Mystic Remora (Do you mind telling me how to play this card correctly? My guess is just leave it around for one or two turn cycles, right?)
- Paradox Haze
- Flooded Strand (I finally splurged and bought a fetchland. That's what I replaced the island with. Only time will tell if it was a good idea. I think it was, because I can use it later on in any deck that runs blue or white.)

Much appreciated! I have to say I think it's the most fun deck I've built yet. Thus far every win has been off the top and unexpected. Probably my favorite inclusion of what you mentioned is Possibility Storm for how much it 1) does not hinder Ramos' cascade minded build 2) Hoses combo decks entirely 3) Doubles up cast triggers & storm count for yourself. Potential to hard lock combo with Lavinia, Azorius Renegade but I'm too much a coward to run her since her being cloned or stolen would hose a literal 1/5 of the deck haha.
I know the counter doublers are common in Ramos, but I've found he becomes plenty lethal & ramp already and that his real struggle is keeping up with draw & protecting him - I just added Padeem, Consul of Innovation & multiple modal counterspells. Fear of the "win more" aside, I do think I want to test out Corpsejack Menace at some point. I may also be more hesitant because I already run Atraxa, Praetors' Voice as a commander and I'd rather avoid too much overlap.
I wanted to ask about your inclusion of Phyresis as your infect source- is it not an issue to cascade into it pre-Ramos? Or do you hold your cascade til after he's out?
In your article you mentioned the benefit of running modal counterspells (charms) for cascade synergy- I see none now but I do see Trap Essence . What made you decide to make that transition? Ramos gets to 5 counters and is "online" but it could also do nothing on an unlucky cascade. AKA could you please sell me on it vs Dromar's Charm ?
How would you rate Kathari Remnant ? I'm indecisive on adding more cascade and if so which ones.
I think many try to go "all in" with Sunforger by including Tithe , Mistveil Plains , Stoneforge Mystic , etc. but I think it'll work better for Ramos just as as it is. Your deck atm is already 10 potential targets inclusive to counterspells, protection, draw, removal, search... I'm not sure yet but I think it should work well.
Hope I'm not overloading, just excited for a new deck and there's zero other Ramos players in any of my meta.
