When Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire attacks, he removes our opponents' best permanents and upgrades our weakest. Library manipulation helps us set up valuable permanents to cheat into play. Many of those permanents disrupt players from untapping, drawing cards, or playing cards, so everyone is forced to play Magic: The Chaos Warping. This hurts opponents more than us since Vaevictis cheats in stuff for us every turn whereas they have non-permanent cards, and we can get rid of their best permanents while upgrading ours. Torpor Orb prevents opponents' triggered abilities from interfering. Extra combat steps and Helm of the Host allow us to abuse Vaevictis multiple times a turn. Recursion allows us to bring back our permanents and also our opponents' permanents. Cauldron of Souls + Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest or Cauldron of Souls + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed give us unlimited recursion of creatures.

Additionally, every card in this deck is a permanent so Primal Surge can put our entire library into play. Aggravated Assault + Bear Umbra , Aggravated Assault + Savage Ventmaw or Aggravated Assault + Neheb, the Eternal create infinite combat steps if there aren't many flying blockers, with Urabrask the Hidden to give haste and prevent opponents from getting flying blockers due to Vaevictis's trigger. Helm of the Host gives us more and more Vaevictis Asmadis and hence more Chaos Warping. With an empty library, Worldspine Wurm can be repeatedly sacrificed and put into play by each Vaevictis trigger while leaving us with multiple Wurm tokens. Possessed Portal prevents us from losing and opponents from drawing cards, and Sire Of Insanity empties all their hands.
