Some of the most inconspicuous artifacts can have game breaking synergies when combined with others. A small sample of the degenerate things you can do with this deck can be found below. Suggestions on how to tune this deck even further are appreciated.

Caltrops + Sydri, Galvanic Genius = Any attackers without indestructible immediately die. Sydri turns Caltrops into a 3/3 with lifelink and deathtouch. Both keywords trigger when damage is dealt and you know the rest.

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Voltaic Construct + Thran Dynamo = Infinite colorless mana. Animate Dynamo, tap it for 3 colorless, use 2 of it to untap with Construct's ability, wash rinse repeat for infinite colorless. Replace Dynamo with Gilded Lotus to produce infinite colored mana.

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Mycosynth Lattice + Dross Scorpion = Infinite Land Destruction. While Dross Scorpion and Mycosynth Lattice are out, tap a land that produces blue, animate an opponent's land into a 0/0 that immediately dies, Dross Scorpion will see an artifact go to the graveyard, therefore untapping the blue land you spent to animate the land. Wash, rinse, and repeat until all lands aside from yours are destroyed.

Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek + Krark-Clan Ironworks = Infinite Life and Colorless Mana. Step 1) Sac Sword to the Foundry, producing 1 life and a thopter token. Step 2) Sword comes back equipped to the thopter. Step 3) Feed the thopter to ironworks producing 2 mana. Step 4) Use one of the colorless to feed the sword to the foundry, repeating the cycle.

Sharuum the Hegemon + Phyrexian Metamorph/Sculpting Steel + Disciple of the Vault = Infinite Life loss. Start by having Sharuum and Disciple on the field, then play Sculpting Steel or Phyrexian Metamorph copying Sharuum, put the legend rule on the stack, sacrifice original Sharuum, use the copy's ability to recur the original, sacrifice the copy, repeat till you win.

Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith = Infinite colorless mana. Tap Monolith for 3 colorless, use 2 of it with Rings' ability to copy the tap trigger netting you 3 more colorless that you use to untap Monolith. Each time this cycle is performed, you will produce 1 "free" colorless mana.

Pili-Pala + Grand Architect = Infinite Coloured Mana. Use Architect's ability to turn Pili-Pala blue, tap it for two colorless, untap it with its own ability producing whatever color is needed.

Infinite Colored Mana combo + Staff of Domination = Infinite Life and Cards. Combo is pretty straightforward.

Walking Ballista + Infinite Mana Combo = Infinite Damage. Use an infinite mana combo to cast Walking Ballista for 1000 (just an example), then unload until all opponents or creatures are dead. Add Sydri, Galvanic Genius for some extra kick.

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk = Blow Up Everything But Your Stuff. You have indestructible artifacts, they don't. Nuff said.

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Aetherflux Reservoir = Dome All Opponents To Death. Once you have 50+ life, use both of Sydri, Galvanic Genius's abilities to give Aetherflux Reservoir lifelink and deathtouch, then proceed to kill everyone.

You can't have Sydri without Liquidmetal coating, having a repeatable 1 mana land destruction is pretty insane. Looks like a fun deck!

Not sure why that linked a deck instead of the card...

zorsmobile, normally I'd agree that it should go in, but it just seems a bit too weak. Mycosynth Lattice does its job on a larger scale without the pesky once per turn activation cost.

Hmm, not sure I agree with you. Of course Mycosynth Lattice is better, but having redundancy isn't a bad thing, having twice the possibility of drawing it is still very valuable just like having Swords to Plowshares and Path of Exile is great. And 2 mana means it could possibly come online very early game and shut someone out, whereas Lattice is much later. Could see you cutting a land since you have a decent number of mana rocks.

That is to say I assume you're playing 1v1, if you generally play multiplayer then I absolutely understand not having Liquimetal Coating. And regardless, it is your deck. Still looks like a really cool list, I love the unexpected Caltrops synergy

Nah fam, multiplayer only. This deck wouldn't last 5 turns in the 1v1 scene lol.

Figured I'd give you a heads up - Sword of the Meek is banned in EDH (specifically for its interaction with Thopter Foundry. Other than that, looks solid. The Caltrops interaction surprised me - I had not thought about that before. Nice work!

Snickles@EDH_only: I need some sources on the Sword of the Meek "banning". The only format I could think it would be banned in is Modern, and it got off that list last April.

Banned link with witty title

You were correct, I was thinking of modern for some reason. My bad, not Sword of the Meek, its Sol Ring and the top. Which is rather confusing since Sol Ring has been in every commander deck they've made...

Dang, further my bad. Ignore my other corrects, that's commander in magic online. nope, all good. actual banned list for regular commander is different.

Actual commander list is here:
