~~~WIP DESCRIPTION~~~

You sit down at the kitchen table. Around you sits a wide swathe of players. There's your classic tribal and midrange decks, people just playing what creatures they control. Next to them is the guy with the wraths looking to play politics and get card advantage. And next to him is someone just looking to combo off as quickly as possible.Then there's you, with 24 lands and a Serum Powder.This is an ideal draft of a deck which I currently have, minus all the expensive cards pretty much. I know that, to a certain extent, it can work without them. This list is what I'm working towards.

Your Commanders Show

* Akiri, Line-Slinger This is the main win condition of the deck, and make no mistake, this card is busted. Of her four capabilities as a commander, the most obvious and most powerful is that she gets +1/+0 for every artifact you control. If every card in you draw is an artifact, and this is not beyond the realm of possibility, then regardless of what the artifacts actually do, she will have power equal to the total number of cards you play in the game. With a seven card starting hand size, it is very rare that she will not be able to get up to seven, the number required to kill a player in three hits, and very often she can go up to eleven, to kill in two. Oh, and she costs two mana. The other thing she has is vigilance, allowing her to keep the ground gummed up as well as attacking, and first strike, allowing her to trade well with nearly everything despite her low toughness. She requires red and white mana to play, and allows access to red and white cards. Red and white cards are nice, and there are quite a few white cards in the deck, but the color you really want is blue.

• Silas Renn, Seeker Adept The purpose of this commander is mostly for his colors. After artifacts this is mostly a blue deck, due to that color's card draw, evasion, and cheap interaction. There are very few black cards in the deck, but they are some of the most powerful. Just because of this, I don't think another partner could really work for this deck as well. As far as what he actually does, he is an artifact and so he will give Akiri the all-important +1. He can pick up a Cranial Plating should Akiri get mind controlled or become too expensive to cast. His ability to recur artifacts is useful once the game is further along, provided he has a target to hit. This is particularly true with Memory Jar, but also anything you need to cast to rebuild your board after a wipe of some sort. Most Akiri decks I've seen use Bruse Tarl as the backup commander for consistent access to double strike, however he is overpriced. None of his other abilities are relevant. Why would I pay 5 for sorcery-speed double strike when I can pay 1 for instant-speed double strike? In addition, the lack of additional colors available severely limits the deck's options, and forces it to rely much more heavily on equipment.
