M21 and Champions of Kamigawa unite for a shrine tribal commander deck. Is it good? Tough to say, probably not. Sisay, Weatherlight Captain is probably a stronger commander for this strategy since the shrines are all legendary, but I already have a Sisay deck. This is a preliminary build, I just pulled the cards out of the boxes and binders and haven't really put it on a shakedown run yet.

It's basically a Propaganda-effect pillow fort shell welded to the 11 shrines with a line of play with Enduring Ideal. This deck can't sneak up on anyone, there just isn't any kind of knockout punch that wins in one decisive turn. So you'll have to raise your shields and hope that you don't get hosed by a board wipe. There is probably a better version of this deck that swaps the Enduring Ideal line for counterspells but I at least want to start off with the option of going Epic.

Cards I'm considering:

Academy Rector: Yet another big spendy card to enable 11hondens.dec. Harder to get into the graveyard than you might realize if you don't already have multiple shrines out.

Confiscate: mostly for the Enduring Ideal line. Probably better than trying to live the dream of locking the board with Hive Mind

Graveyard Hate: I probably ought to play some. Not yet decided on the form that should take. Probably Tormod's Crypt and maybe Wheel of Sun and Moon.

Smothering Tithe: This deck can always use more mana.

Parallel Lives/Doubling Season: Doubles up on your token vomit. Not really much marginal value on the Doubling Season over Parallel Lives except if you're going for a Helix Pinnacle win, but maybe running both is the right play.

Purphoros, God of the Forge: Probably a better Warstorm Surge. If he replaces Warstorm, I don't think there are enough red mana symbols in the deck to turn him into a creature, which is probably fine.
