First things first- find Danse Macabre on the interwebs and listen to it.

The winter wind blows and the night is dark; Moans are heard in the linden trees. Through the gloom, white skeletons pass, Running and leaping in their shrouds. Zig, zig, zig, each one is frisking, The bones of the dancers are heard to crack But hist! of a sudden they quit the round, They push forward, they fly; the cock has crowed.

*According to the ancient superstition, "Death" appears at midnight every year on Halloween. Death has the power to call forth the dead from their graves to dance for him while he plays his fiddle (represented by a solo violin with its E-string tuned to an E-flat in an example of scordatura tuning). His skeletons dance for him until the first break of dawn, when they must return to their graves until the next year.

Vampires have always been the classiest of the evils on Innistrad, and anywhere else- I mean have you seen those Eldrazi fellow? It's just unfortunate that they need blood to live.

Recently pulled Olivia from a MM17 pack so I got thinking. My friend has a massive collection of vampires, so why not make a vampire tribal edh? It's not particularly cancer, but can be insanely strong due to the synergy of vampires.*

Ways to play this deck Show

1) Faceroll. This deck can easily fill the board using Edgar Markov's passive, then employ the board buffs on creatures such as Drana, Liberator of Malakir or Vampire Nocturnus to make them hit harder. Olivia is also useful to get new creatures to instantly swing-the loss of card advantage is not very important if you dont plan for the game to go on too long. Dont forget to just keep on attacking.

For this game plan you'll be wanting to mulligan for Drana or Nocturnus, as well as one of two early vampires to get the ball rolling. Bloodline Keeper is usually a good pick up too, because of that infinite stream of 2/2s.

2) The slower game plan also involves boardbuffing, but you're incentivised to maintain card advantage and play around boardclears more. Here, you also get to play with your resurrect cards such as Alesha, Who Smiles at Death and Sun Titan to constantly bring back stuff like Captivating Vampire. Essentially, you'll be trying to build up a massive board which can deal immense damage in one turn, or waiting for long enough to get value off of Living Death or Rise of the Dark Realms.

3) Combo. This is seriously only if you think you'll never be able to beatstick them down. This is the comboYahenni, Undying Partisan/ Blade of the Bloodchief+ Animation Module+ Ashnod's Altar+ Dictate of Erebos. By sacrificing any creature to Ashnod's Altar, you would proc the trigger on Dictate of Erebos. Your opponent sacs a creature, triggering Yahenni, Undying Partisan (or the Blade). You get a +1/+1, which in turn triggers Animation Module to create a 1/1, which can be sacrificed to make (essentially paying for itself). Repeat Ad Nauseum...or until your opponent runs out of creatures. Now you have a beatstick, a clear path to the face, and like a whoooole lot of mana from all those Ashnod's Altar triggers.
