Corpsehatch

Sorcery

Destroy target nonblack creature. Put two 0/1 colorless Eldrazi Spawn creature tokens onto the battlefield. They have "Sacrifice this creature: Add to your mana pool."

carpecanum thanks for the comment! Rogue's Passage is indeed a must! i thought about Palace Siege to, but i cuted it for Gray Merchant of Asphodel since i already have more than one way to recure creature from my graveyard, and the life gain on gray merchant is more relevant in my opinion. Sifter of Skulls is already in my list, and i was wondering which card you would cut for Corpsehatch ?

Rogue's Passage in case your boss gets big enough to end the game. I second the motion for Black Market .

Maybe Palace Siege ?

This is so cool! Have you considered Rapacious One instead of Essence Feed? Maybe Ashnod's Altar? I feel like the altar would be able to net you twice the mana from your eldrazi spawn and can also provide on-demand death to your creatures, and a hit from Rapacious One can easily advance your board state towards something powerful and repeatable.

As backups, I would consider Quicksilver Amulet or Elvish Piper in case you can't get enough mana eldrazi.

Your land base looks good, however Korvold especially benefits from lands that can sacrifice themselves. Fetch lands like Wooded Foothills, Verdant Catacombs, Bloodstained Mire, Windswept Heath, Misty Rainforest,Prismatic Vista, Scalding Tarn and Polluted Delta could really speed up your mana base and let you draw cards at the same time! I get that they may be out of budget- proxies are always an option if your playgroup is cool with them. Additional lands like Spawning Bed, Lotus Field, Jund Panorama, Blighted Woodland and Fabled Passage work well too.

Harrow instead of Wild Wanderer would fit your sacrifice theme. Pitiless Plunderer would give you double value while Broodwarden only buffs some of your creatures. You're not really winning with spawn, and a lot of your best eldrazi produce scions anyway.

I like your removal package, but I feel like there are some unneeded spells that can also be cut for ramp/removal. Things like Fog, Spawning Breath, Prismatic Omen, and Wave of Vitriol don't really advance your game plan (at least not as much as you'd like them to), and I think things such as Breaker of Armies, Nature's Lore, and Corpsehatch, and Commander's Sphere would work some wonders.

This is a super cool concept and I'm eager to see it in the future. I hope this helps!

Well, Grixis is usually more control-combo rather than beatdown-voltron, but it shouldn't be too hard to make work with a little tweaking. First, we will talk of my favorite aspect, you guessed it, card draw. It's definitely better with Arcanis the Omnipotent and Sign in Blood, but I'm pretty sure you want draw that's cheaper than six mana, right? So recommendations: Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Coastal Piracy, these are just a few suggestions, but if you want, you could also look into artifacts like Mind's Eye, but you're blue and black, so your options aren't exactly limited. Ooh, there's also Phyrexian Arena and my personal favorite Read the Bones. Next, we talk cuts, then we talk what to add. So I'll try to give a brief reason while I'm at it; Butcher Ghoul: it's a 1/1 for two that does, well, nothing. Eldrazi Skyspawner: same as butcher ghoul. Emrakul's Hatcher: see previous. Opaline Unicorn: It's a rock with summoning sickness, put in a real rock.Phage the Untouchable: I've found she backfires on me more often then not, but this one is up to you.Pharika's Chosen: see Butcher Ghoul. Thraximundar: he needs his own deck, he is not a 99 filler. Not of This World: replace with Cyclonic Rift. Corpsehatch: replace with Doomblade. Devils' Playground is not a very good card, replace with Ponder or Brainstorm. Essence Feed: not great, replace with removal, like Reality Shift or Go for the Throat. Argentum Armor too expensive. replace with Loxodon Warhammer or Sol Ring. Gem of Becoming: replace with Gilded Lotus. Manalith= strictly worse than Darksteel Ingot. If you want me to give more suggestions on what to add, leave a message on my wall, but I'll leave here for now as this is a long-ass comment, and don't want you having to read a wall of text.

Altar of the Brood, Living Death, Summoner's Egg, Palace Siege, Outpost Siege, Victimize, Attrition, Tempt with Vengeance, Fallen Ideal, Breath of Fury, Rite of the Raging Storm and Vampiric Rites would all fit in here.

Remember, Artisan of Kozilek only has an ETB when you cast it, not when it comes into play. I'm not sure what you need Braid of Fire for since the mana can only be spent during upkeep (i have one deck with a lot of pumpable creatures, that and one or two big instants are all i have found it useful for).

I would consider taking out some of the fun cards and putting in more mana because a lot of your cards have a high cost. Khalni Gem, Corpsehatch, Sol Ring etc. Some of the creatures you get from your opponents graveyard may have abilities that require off color mana, so Fellwar Stone, Exotic Orchard, Darksteel Ingot, anything with more mana, more colors.

This looks like a fun deck.

Corpsehatch has been useful in my Sheoldred deck as both ramp and removal (mostly the ramp). Curse of the Cabal has also been amazing.

miracleHat Altar of shadows is objectively an awful card though. Even in EDH, 7 to cast + 7 to activate is just horrendous. Off the top of my head, Corpsehatch is about a thousand times better if you're looking for a removal spell that makes mana. There's probably some even better card I'm forgetting.

Likewise, ethereal usher... Not useless, but 3 mana sorcery super narrow tutor hardly has applications. As opposed to say, Dizzy Spell, an underrated tutor which finds all kinds of great, commonly played stuff like Sol Ring, Exploration, Swords to Plowshares, Vandalblast, Entomb, Mystic Remora, Vampiric Tutor, Reanimate, Nature's Claim, Nihil Spellbomb, Green Sun's Zenith, Pongify, Pithing Needle, etc etc

Maybe I should write my own article...

You need more removal, like Innocent Blood or Barter in Blood to justify Kalitas and Overseer of the Damned . Cemetery Reaper is primarily used for the Zombie tribal effect, so it doesn't work great here. Blood Artist is single target, not great for EDH. Ob Nixilis, Unshackled might be nice here. Corpsehatch for ramp and removal. In my opinion, Infernal Offering is too helpful for the enemy. These are just suggestions, and should be taken as such.
