How it works:

2. Proliferate/double counters to get off an early ultimate.

Having an indestructible general, Sliver Hivelord, is just easy protection from most things, especially considering the large number of Wraths (8) in the deck.

Combo out with Tezzeret the Seeker looking for The Chain Veil and untapping that and a mana rock. Use other planeswalkers to provide extra mana, or just sink additional mana in and shoot off some planeswalker ultimates.
Easiest combo is playing Doubling Season or Deepglow Skate with any planeswalker that enters with at least half as many loyalty counters needed for their ultimates and just getting those off turn 1. Great examples of game enders:
