Aristocrats is a "midrange" deck that looks to beat other creature decks by grinding them out. Aristocrats packs tons of creatures who either come back easily or have multiple bodies, making it very hard to fully stomp out our board. Plus, these resilient creatures make great fodder for our sacrifice engines. Cards like Goblin Bombardment, Yawgmoth, Butcher of the Horde, Falkenrath Aristocrat, and Skullclamp take full advantage of the endless bodies to accrue value. Aristocrats can be very difficult to pilot, but just as rewarding. Our match ups are mostly somewhere in the 40/60 60/40 range. Midrange decks that rely more on their curve will have a hard time keeping up with us in the long game and Aggro decks will often fold without a lightning quick start (turns out having many bodies also means we're good at blocking). On the difficult side are the combo decks, we pack some hand attack to help disrupt them but outside of that we don't have ways to hurt their mana base or counter their key spells. Against dedicated combo it's best to pretend we're an aggro deck and try to pressure their life total. If you're seeing a lot of them, there is room in the points for a Mind Twist?
