Creature (1)

This deck focuses on utilizing mass treasure creation to use as sac fodder to fuel korvold for card draw and powering him up. The hope of this deck is to draw into a win condition or enable to swing for lethal by making the creatures that benefit from sacrificing permanents huge. I also employed some ways to deal damage directly to the opponent by sacrificing creatures which can work really well with creatures like juri who can get pretty big in one turn with a sacrifice deck, sacrifice him at end of turn to deal damage equal to his power then use one of the few ways to get him back out onto the battlefield and do it again next turn.

This is a mechanic that I don't see much for korvold so I was not able to find many examples to look at different mechanics I could use so I am sure this deck will take me multiple drafts to get right and to get it working reliably and to its full potential. I know korvold would likely work better going with a full token creature generation, but I just thought the idea of using treasures would be cool and would feed into a ramp base for the deck.

As this is definitely a work in progress, I would definitely appreciate any insight or opinions on what could be done to make the deck better.

Update: Rev1.

I noticed the deck did not really have a solid win condition in the first deck and the game was basically stalled until I put out ziatora and then could just sacrifice juri and korvold for the win. I also noticed treasure generation was not as plentiful as I had hoped so I aimed to make the deck slightly more combat based as much of the more reliable treasure generation is based upon dealing combat damage. So I included cards that benefit off combat and cards that would enable me to utilize combat without putting myself too much at risk.

I originally thought to do this by leaning into dwarves to use magda for mass treasure generation but most of the dwarves I would use tap for land destruction and while that would fit into this deck perfectly I want people to actually be willing to play against the deck so I decided to lean slightly into goblins instead for token generation / sac outlets as well as combat fodder to trigger my treasure generation.
