Maybeboard

If you are wondering if Roon of the Hidden Realm is right for you, ask yourself one question: do you love value?

The biggest problem you might have while building this deck is cutting all the sweet 6 and 7 drops that synergize well with being flickered. I understand your pain. After a lot of tearful goodbyes to many worthy creatures I arrived at my current list. It is a balance between competitive game winners (Avenger of Zendikar), solid value creatures (Prime Speaker Zegana) and more casual cards that are just fun (Djinn of Infinite Deceits).

The core of the deck is comprised of creature that ramp, draw cards or disrupt opponents through ETB triggers.
This strategy could normally be easily disrupted by shutting down Roon, so I've added a lot of redundancy to the deck's plan through other creatures that flicker (Deadeye Navigator/Mistmeadow Witch/etc.).

One important final note that I've seen a few people miss: Roon cannot target himself. Do not plan on him being nigh-invincible to spot removal or board wipes. That said, if someone tried to clear the board feel free to flicker your Avenger of Zendikar to leave your opponent wondering why they bothered.
