Flumph

Creature — Jellyfish

Defender, flying

Whenever this is dealt damage, you and target opponent each draw a card.

K4m4r0 Of course the new Crystal Barricade is a nice addition to the deck to protect yourself against combo, and your creature from Blasphemous Act effect.

I also see that you never added Flumph, which can be a pretty good political card.

Some suggestions:

Excavated Wall

Fortified Rampart

Orator of Ojutai

Wall of Tanglecord

Slaughter the Strong

Flumph also makes the game a bit more fun

There's also the possibility to use Hold the Gates if you wished to swamp out some basics for some gates

Dark Deal is worth testing, I believe. Thank you!

Need to test how often Rule of Law keeps the opponents hand full. Master of the Feast was already suggested. Flumph fills his spot better, in my opinion.

I uncluded Sheoldred, the Apocalypse as soon as it was previewed while brewing this deck, because it just "has" to fit, you'd think. I'll not go into detail why it didn't, it was very suprising to me, but perhaps it does now. It goes into Underworld Dreams's spot, if so.

Thank you very much for recommending me Oath. The deck is in testing phase and it totally needs that bit of removal and lifegain, although Ob usually dies to removal himself. Currently contending with the spot for Soul Partition. The deck needs more instants, as I noticed it's too weak to hasters. I made the deck for my best friend who hates creatures, but Flumph already fills Master of the Feast's slot better, in my opinion. This deck is overflowing in 3-drops already, and Flumph gives you precious card advantadges as well. Lastly, there is obviously Loran of the Third Path. These are awesome suggestions, much appreciated!

In Political decks with White I like stuff like Pulsemage Advocate, Spurnmage Advocate, and Dawnbreak Reclaimer. I'm not sure if it's strictly necessary, but Flumph (I agree with Mr Hammer above) and World Queller are pretty political and can do useful things in some metas, but they can also be really dead cards in others. World Queller can be infuriating if a deck runs a small number of key cards of a certain type and thus can't protect them.

Make an Example is an interesting new card that can be a lot better than Soul Shatter, it also hits each opponent, doesn't target (you choose the pile though) and is a sacrifice effect. It's not an Instant, but it has big upside if a player doesn't already know what you need gone and can isolate that creature. Another cool new card is Protection Racket, I didn't notice a ton of cards that your deck is completely dependent on, if that is correct then Racket is a really useful card, either pinging each opponent or giving you cards. It's even more absurd if you can get out Exquisite Blood.

With your Commander I feel like Volcanic Offering would be interesting, you should be able to draw 2 cards off it via your Commander in addition to blowing up 2 lands that aren't yours.

I had nothing to do this morning in class, so here you go, too many card suggestions.

This section is for giving your best friend a reward for being awesome. While, y’know, giving yourself something too.

-Incarnation Technique, Creative Technique, and Excavation Technique all give you and a buddy a powerful effect. Of course, you’re getting the better end of the deal, but they can have cool stuff too.

-Benevolent Offering kind of goes along with that, too.

-Tempting Contract and Master of Ceremonies both give everyone good loot, but give you more.

-Flumph is great. It’ll trigger some of the effects in the section below when people attack you for a card, and it’ll make everyone your friend.

-Tenuous Truce is Flumph for two.

-Smuggler's Share is nice, since you’ll get just a little more out of giving everyone extra card draw.

-Jailbreak is excellent for only two mana and basically no money.

This section is for discouraging opponents from messing with your effects.

-Revenge of Ravens and Oath of Kaya both do the same thing, more or less. You can see why they’d be nice, especially with goad.

-Cunning Rhetoric and Mangara, the Diplomat both give you extra card draw for your opponents’ hubris.

-Sivriss, Nightmare Speaker gives you extra draw every turn. Like, three cards worth. That, or it’ll be a lightning bolt to the face for someone, so you win either way.

-Sword-Point Diplomacy is kind of the vibe I’m going for here.

-Emberwilde Captain is more goad and works with your pre-existing Monarch card.

-Leyline of Combustion is always pretty fun, along with all of the leylines. Just super annoying, is all.

This section is for cards that benefit you solely, but using the other two sections for leverage, you can get the most out of them.

-Magma Hellion and Lava-Field Overlord give you a big bad creature. That’s all, really. Not super scary, but they’re here.

-Bring Down, Gang Up, Deadly Designs, and Play of the Game are all good removal that other people can pay for and when there’s some big Emrakul threat on the board, people are usually pretty willing to spend to get rid of it.

-Mogg Assassin and Council's Judgment are both more removal, but less shaky ones. Just remember that Judgment can exile more than just one thing.

-Wake to Slaughter and Dredge the Mire are both resurrection spells and both very nice. Only problem is that an opponent has to pick for you. Just make sure that anyone willing to help will be given a high five and a 5/5 angel or something.

Baird, Steward of Argive offers protection for your Planeswalkers, which is handy.

Since you've got Dawnbreak Reclaimer, I feel like you might have an interest in some of the Advocates, I use Spurnmage Advocate, which can be used to help one player while hindering another, and Pulsemage Advocate, which can help you directly while making a presently allied opponent a bit stronger. Mass Diminish is a really surprising effect, there is very little some decks can do other than lose when their creatures become 1/1s for an entire turn cycle, while also having Flashback is just unreasonable value sometimes. War Cadence might be interesting if you want to force damage on an opponent from attackers, it makes it very hard to block, which also complicates things for your opponents who never know if you're going to use it on them. Flumph is a funny card, but you get to chose who gets the card at least.

A bit out there, but Strixhaven Stadium has a lot of synergy with stuff that makes it hard for people to attack you, especially since you have lots of flyers/evasives to sneak in with, this will speed things up if it sticks around.
